End of Module Self evalaution
Submission boards Brief 3 Jake Coleman
This brief was a good one. Although after looking over it I feel that I reworked it far too much, spend way too much time on it when really I could of gotten it done in half the time it took and moved onto my other briefs. It made me learn that working with clients and producing work that you know will be used puts additional pressure on you to make sure its perfect. I loved working with a furniture student, I learned a lot and made a good friend out of this brief. I only wish i spend less time redesigning it and expanded the range into promotional material as well which would of not taken much time at all.

Jake Coleman look book
after meeting with jake yesterday he pointed out that he didn't think that the bay window bench page looked right, so i made some more varations of that double page spread for him to have a look at. due to the imagery I have it was pretty limited to fit onto my grid but these are some more varations.

jake coleman lookbook pdf version
The grid i produced for jakes lookbook is really simple the most important thing about it is the inside margins. It has been extended to make sure theres enough space for text to be readable. then theres a huge middle gap which is utlised for full flush images.
Quick run through of jakes look book. I really like the icons at the bottom right. when your paging through the publication you can use them like a key to find the piece of furniture your looking for.

jake coleman Invoice book tests
The invoice book is something I would like to design but im not sure if i can get hold of all the key componants and go through the binding process without it taking up too much time, andy gave me a good hint to just buy a conventional one online and rebind the front cover. this way jake can actually have a working invoice book for when he leaves uni and not something makeshift.
